Hope I will write about this again in the future

Many people are worried about their increasing body weight. Increasing body weight means problem. I mean if you are single and young it will be kinda hard to impress your opposite sex. How often did you hear a girl craving for a fat and big guy?? One in a million right. Ya Ya Ya. Girls nowadays crave for a guy that looks like Taylor Lautner, Brad Pitt, the Pattinson guy and even Justin Bieber and etc etc. Minus Adam Lambert of course. Girls only love fat guys when they are famous eg. Jack Black, Adflin Shauki, Kevin Biggest Loser etc etc....
I have problems with my own weight. I'm not trying to impress other girls or even men here but I just want to be fit and healthy. If I were to live a fit and healthy life I need to be active in sports, exercise or hit the gym as often as I can. But since my pocket money does not have hitting the gym in its list so I need to forget about that one. Sports?? I only have futsal like once or twice in a week and that also depends on invitation. It is not enough considering my waist increasing from 32 - 34 this past two years. Imagine how it would be in the years to come without any proper exercise. It sounds scary to me.
So, since I cannot get myself enough exercise I turned to eating well instead. It is a big challenge considering the fact that I love to eat. But hopefully I will adapt myself well to the 8 tips that I found at certain health websites. Here are the tips :
  1. Base your meals on starchy foods. (eg. rice, noodles, bread, pasta, potatoes)
  2. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
  3. Eat more fish.
  4. Cut down saturated fat and sugar.
  5. Try to eat less salt. (no more than 6g a day)
  6. Get active and try to be a healthy weight.
  7. Drink plenty of water.
  8. Do not skip breakfast.

I think it is not impossible to follow all that. What you need is patience. That's all. Hopefully I can get slimmer the next time I write about this topic. So, if you do not see my post about this thing in the future that's mean I still have problems with it. Haha....

Auf Wiedersehen Deutschland

'Auf Wiedersehen Deutschland'. Finally the team of the tournament bids farewell to the World Cup. Once again, Paul's prediction was right keeping his 100% record and let see if he can predict the outcome of the final. I guess the Germans authority should take extra measure to keep Paul safe from their angry and devastated fans.
So, what went wrong with the Germans last night? What happened to their attacking philosophy? They look hesitant, lethargic and scared throughout the 90 minutes. Instead of bursting forward through counterattacks they opt for corners instead. For me there is no wrong in saying attack is the best way to defend but first you have to control the ball and then the game. That is what that made Xavi, Iniesta and Alonso look superior last night. Their ball control is magnificent and mesmerising. They outplayed both Schweinsteiger and Khedira in the middle of the park. Not just that, the Spanish really outdo their opponent by making them chasing shadows throughout the game.
Even Joachim Loew admitted after the game that Spain is the most skillful team in the tournament and he just could not understand why his team that was so dominant against the English and the Argentinian did not play according to their plan. They were busy with their defense and could not find a way through the Spanish back line. This team is still young and I am really sure if the German FA stick with Loew and this team who knows they can go a step further for the next tournament in Brazil. Euro 2012 is not that far and by that time the likes of Mesut Oezil, Thomas Muller and Toni Kroos will be mature enough to bring Germany to their own destiny. But first they need to pick up themselves before the match against the 'Volleyball Team' Uruguay (referring to Luis Suarez's incident against Ghana).
The final match between Netherlands and Spain will determine the new member for the family of World Cup winners. It will be the most anticipated and eagerly awaited match of the year as both teams have their own qualities to win the match. Once again La Roja will be banking on Xavi, Iniesta and Villa to produce their magic and Oranje will look up to Sneijder, Robben and van Persie to inspire the team to their first ever World Cup crown. I will be routing for Spain this match but it all depends on Paul's prediction unless he had been eaten by the Germans. Haha.
p/s:
  1. God save Paul.
  2. Awang Zaid, thanks for the 'Volleyball' team quote.
  3. Fred, share2 la menang betting.
  4. Enjoy the final people.

Another controversy in the World Cup match

The cup fever is almost over. Last night, I mean this morning, the first of two semifinals was played between the history men (Uruguay) against the nearly men (Holland). The result favored the Oranje 3 goals to 2 of course and the fairytale journey of the Uruguain ended. Uruguay had been the shock of the tournament throughout. The fact that Luiz Suarez cheated by using his hand to defy Ghana their own history seems to bite them back. And indeed only small controversial details prevented them from going a step further to the final against either the mighty Germans or the classy Spanish. After Diego Forlan had cancelled out Giovani van Bronckhorst's wonder strike, Uruguay had the Oranje wobbling in the second half. Both Forlan and Alvaro Pereira saw their effort nearly on target until Holland scored by a controversial Wesley Sneijder sucker-punch.

The offside rule clearly stated that if any part of your body is offside and you are interfering with play, then it is an infringement. Robin van Persie's foot was offside and as he was standing right in front of Nestor Muslera, the goal should be chalked off.

And if you looked back to the first goal by Holland, slightly earlier than that the official missed a leg-breaking tackle by Van Bommel that should have resulted in a red card. Poor poor Uruguay. Despite their controversial exit, the Uruguaian should not dwell too much on it as Oscar Tabarez and his men have truly put the South Americans back in the map after been hiding in the shadows for 40 years and they should savour and enjoy the hero's welcome back at home. Diego Forlan their captain should be in the 2010 World Cup Dream Team as he almost all of the time carry his team on his shoulder an guide them to victory. The match highlights can be seen here

Early tomorrow morning the second semifinal will determine who will meet Holland in the final. For this match, I favored the Spanish. No offense to the Germans supporter but i just followed the prediction made by Paul the Octopus. Haha. Anyway, Paul's prediction for the game tonight can be seen in this video.

This should worries the Germans and their supporters. Anyway, good luck for both teams. And guys, enjoy the match tonight.

Starting up

Yesterday was the first day of class for the new semester. Funny it seems as I decided to went for it contrary with last semester where i did not attend the first week. I always thought that my holiday was not enough. Yes it is not enough compared to my friends where they had a clear 2 months off as I only have a week plus. But the 1 week plus I had was amazing. It's been a while since I had an amazing holiday. I went to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and I was particularly amazed by the fact that it is situated just next to the sea. The beach has always been my favourite place since before I was born. I remember the first time I ever went to the beach and that was when I was still a kindy boy. I only have nice things to say about KK and I am looking forward to my next visit there next year.

Enough about my holiday. Well, the Rainforest World Music Festival 2010 is just around the corner. Sadly to say that I have to miss the event again. Aaahhh. RWMF this year will certainly be better than last year. 1 of my friends who went there last year said it was more like a mask party as visitors were required to wear mask to prevent H1N1. RWMF had captured thousands of tourists every year and there were many who kept coming back for it every year. It is not often that we had such a world class event held in Kuching plus the venue itself situated at the foot of a mountain in the middle of the well known tropical rainforest of Borneo. You can get more info about RWMF from this site www.rainforestmusic-borneo.com. Here are also some clips about past RWMF.

I was here of course. Haha. So, to those who have not been to the festival you better do and I am sure you will come back.

See you next time guys. Enjoy life.
